I'm glad the Mets got to have Terrance Gore for a little while. Such a unique player who did exactly what his job description asked for in his brief time with the club—in seven games, he stole three bases.
What's especially amazing is he didn't even join the Mets organization until June and logged just 70 ABs in 30 games in the minors prior to his promotion. He was signed specifically to be a runner. How many other players can say that?
I also like his attitude, just seems like a really cool dude.
No one has signed him for 2023, yet, but I'm sure he'll get a contract somewhere.

Terrance Gore was a "luxury" player that made sense when the Mets were doing well. As a "one tool" player who could only run the bases (which he did very well), he could not stem the team failure in September as pitching and hitting slacked off. A team that seemed like a sure WS contender turned into a Wild Card loss and he was the wrong player to help that team.
