HERE IS WHAT OTHER METS FANS HAVE TO SAY:
August 4, 2008 Witnessed his first ML homer, Shea Stadium, July 25, 2008, vs. St. Louis. It was a solo shot over the 371 mark in the right-field gap. He was batting left-handed. And yes, he got the silent treatment when he returned to the dugout.
October 1, 2008 I can't understand the fans love affair with this guy. He can't hit. I know everyone hates Castillo, but Reyes is not the answer. He is a good glove but he can't hit. He's like the 2008 version of Anderson Hernandez. We need a better bat.
