HERE IS WHAT OTHER METS FANS HAVE TO SAY:
October 30, 2001 This guy was a classic journeyman but I must say he was a pretty decent pinch hitter during his short Mets career. These guys are a dime a dozen.
September 30, 2002 Andy was more than just a player, he's a great friend and a credit to his parents. Always a fan favourite, I hope he comes back one day and visits all his friends down under.
July 1, 2004 I went to a minor league game at Winston-Salem and met Andy. Got him to sign a card for me and the card said prospect so he said, "I was never really a prospect." I told him that I remember he played back in the majors and he said, "A lot of teams were dumb enough to take a chance on me." He's a very friendly and humorous person, I'm glad he's enjoying coaching now.
