HERE IS WHAT OTHER METS FANS HAVE TO SAY:
About all that I remember about Ronn is that he spelled his name that way (maybe in honor of Donn Clendenon or Randy Bobb) and that he played a bigger role in the Sidd Finch book than he did in real life.
February 5, 2002 He made me long for Clint Hurdle.
April 10, 2004 I don't know about anyone else. But I was in high school when he was with the Mets and we had a Ronn Reynolds fan club.
August 23, 2006 Only Met non-pitcher not to get in the infamous 19 inning win in Atlanta on July 4, 1985. Davy kept him available to replace Gary Carter but The Kid stayed in all 19 innings and Reynolds just sat on the bench.
3 ribbies in 113 at-bats in his Met career. Pretty much a defensive guy.
