Share your memories of Frank Francisco
HERE IS WHAT OTHER METS FANS HAVE TO SAY:
YOLO
May 11, 2012
This guy is a bum, why in the world did Alderson sign this guy to a 2-year deal? I wish Parnell was closing games instead of this bum.

Frank Francisco is the worse version of Braden Looper. Of all the closers on the market in the offseason, the Mets had to sign him. Here's hoping he doesn't stick around long.

I am having Mel Rojas flashbacks.

Pitched one inning last night, gave up one earned run and actually LOWERED his ERA in doing so; not exactly the sort of stat improvement you get all excited about from your closer.

This guy makes me miss Braden Looper closing games.

JFK

Watching this guy pitch is torture. He clearly doesn't care. We Met fans are stuck with him for another year. Thanks Sandy.

I disagree with JFK. He cares. Watching him destroy a water cooler and several other objects the other day proved that to me. And, most of the time, he has been there for the media, save or no save. Sandy Alderson had a limited budget to work with. Frank Frank was obtained for not too much and, while he hasn't been great, he hasn't been terrible either. He's had some good outings. We've had worse - remember Mel Rojas?
