HERE IS WHAT OTHER METS FANS HAVE TO SAY:
May 9, 2005 Anybody the Mets were able to obtain for that stiff Roberto "Remember the" Alomar is a plus in my book!
August 27, 2005 Showed first year jitters. Can see him becoming closer one day, who knows.
August 24, 2006 Couldn't hit the proverbial broad side of a barn if his life depended on it.
August 24, 2006 This guy has AAAA player written all over him. I hope he can make the full transition to the majors but I kinda doubt it.
November 28, 2014 I remember when the Mets got Ring as the main piece in the Roberto Alomar trade he was said to be a potential closer of the future. First round draft pick who could hit 96 MPH. Didn't work out, but most fans were happy to see Alomar go, despite the fact that the players received in return did not pan out.
