Great backup catcher. Had some good years later with Arizona. They traded him to get Lidle which would have turned out to be a great trade had they given Lidle a bigger chance.

Like Brock Fordyce, a weak-hitting, solid backup catcher who held on for a long time. Lost his hair in a hurry, maybe because he played for Dallas Green while he was here.
