December 26, 2001 Mario Diaz caught the final out of that unforgettable 10-9 Mets win versus the Philadelphia Phillies at veterans Stadium in 1990, where the bullpen almost gave away a huge lead in the bottom of the ninth inning. What made it truly memorable was Bob Murphy saying "The Mets win the damn thing," a bit of a shocker because the Murph never utters profanity.
