Ugh... I was at this game. Down 6-0 before we get our first at bat, it looked pretty grim. Then to be up 7-6 by the end of 3rd, simply amazin! Then, of course, the Mets lost anyway. Thinking back to those days makes me SOOO happy to have Willie Randolph managing the Mets. He makes some bonehead moves here and there, but I still accept it graciously. Why? Because he's not Art Howe!

Piazza got hurt on a play at 1B (ironically one of his worries about moving to the position) and this game was really the beginning of the end for him.
